These signs were left on the 86th St. Subway platform in NYC after the Women’s March.
The views expressed are those of the people who created them,
who are the descendants of the forward thinking founders of this nation,
who created for us the 1st Amendment.
I’m a feminist, a proud defender of a woman’s right to be respected and feel safe,
whatever her party affiliation, status or origin.
There is always a chance for us to transform President Johnson’s Great Society
into an embracing and loving United Nation.
We will keep going ahead, through all that the next four years will bring,
to transform and become our greater selves if we choose to.
