I needed a Break.
Trying to get by without one
This could be very expensive.
I still needed it.
A Break is a bend in metal.
A Break is also the machine that
Makes the bend.
I once used one
In another sign shop.
How do I get one?
How can I create my own?
With the good mind I was given,
And believing it possible.
With careful analysis
Of what made the machine work,
Manufactured steel became
2×4’s, wire, pulleys and cinder block counter weights
and in a wire-to-spark Edison moment,
my Ian – made break worked.
The success sparked was the same as Graham Bell’s first call,
The Wright’s flight vision made real,
And anything dreamed into reality.
It came from a single break that now leads to many more.
