What is Coroplast?

Coroplast is actually a brand name of corrugated plastic that became the generic term given corrugated plastic’s popularity. Basically, Coroplast refers to corrugated plastics as Kleenex is to tissues, or Q-tip is to cotton swabs. Coroplast signs are constructed like the plastic equivalent to cardboard, with flutes running through the material. This allows for sturdier signage while remaining relatively lightweight and cost-effective to produce.

Benefits of Using Coroplast Signs

Coroplast signs can be displayed indoors, but they are more often used as exterior building signs. They can be cut to any size and shape to promote your desired graphics and texts. It’s very common for property owners to use wire stakes to prop up the lightweight signs for passersby to see. Our printing process ensures that the daily UV exposure won’t fade your graphics so that the sign can look like new for longer. The plastic material is also water-resistant in the event of rain. These signs are exceedingly easy to install, dismantle, and transport, so you can reposition your sign as needed. Or, given how economical the signs are, you can purchase a few coroplast signs for your needs without breaking the bank!

Caring For Your Coroplast Signs

Even if you only need temporary signage, you can increase the longevity of your coroplast signs with a bit of care. The plastic could be sensitive to extreme heat, so try to find a shaded area to erect your sign and store it somewhere that won’t subject it to extreme temperatures when not in use. Do not attempt to bend or roll up the sign. If you need to clean off some dirt and dust, use a cloth with some soapy water to wipe down your coroplast signs to make it look new again!
